How many of us have been to a Baby Shower an the games SUCKED?! Sometimes the games themselves are just rubbish. Other times the games don’t fit the group. Whatever the reason, the fact is that Baby Shower Games can make or break the event. No pressure then!! You need a bunch of Baby Shower Games that are actually fun, and I've got you covered :)
Matching the Games to the Gathering
First thing first is making sure you’ve thought about your group and the type of Baby Shower it is. Organising a Baby Shower with best friends who all know each other really well? Why not choose something which gets people making fools of themselves (toilet paper turbans anyone?!). But if it is a work baby shower for colleagues you probably want something considerably less outlandish and more low key. Finally - most Baby Shower will fit in to this category – you have a mixture of people some who know each other and some who don’t. For this you need to consider games which will bring everyone together and feel included. Careful use of icebreakers and games which allow everyone to participate to the level they choose is really important here. Okay, on to my recommendations for Baby Shower Games which are actually fun!
Hilarious adventure through the realities of parenting. Different either or scenarios are read out for either everyone, or just the Mummy-to-be, to choose one. This game is one of my favourite Baby Shower Games and it is not just fun it is utterly hilarious! At the Baby Shower you can get everyone laughing, connecting and sharing stories like everyone has known each other for years with this game.
Another Baby Shower Game which has me in stitches every time! Are you looking at beautiful bountiful pregnant bump, or a fat man’s beer belly?! The conversations which some out of this Baby Shower Game ‘hmm but that one’s got stretch marks’ and ‘look at the hair on that one!’ will have you crying with laughter! Lovely one to play in teams so everyone can participate and not sexual so can be played by all ages (but if it is adults only I recommend labour or loving!).
Another one which will induce laughter. The premise is that an everyday item has been described in the most rude and sexual way you can imagine! Very easy unless you have an incurably dirty mind, and who doesn’t really?! Great fun for a Baby Shower UK Style laced with double entendre and laughter.
