October Adventures: A Glimpse Behind the Curtain at Hannah's Games

Hello, my wonderful friends and followers! October 2023 was quite a ride here at Hannah's Games, and I can't wait to share all the exciting moments with you. So, grab a cuppa, snuggle up, and join me on this whirlwind journey.

1. Hannah's Take on Trick or Treating

Halloween – the night of costumes and sweets! My son and I decided to embrace the Halloween spirit wholeheartedly and set out on a grand trick-or-treating adventure. Here's why it was extra special:

Community Magic: In our little corner of Plymouth, the tradition of trick-or-treating is alive and well. What's heartwarming is that it relies on neighbours without kids buying sweets for their neighbour's little ones. It's the essence of community, and it warms my heart.

Rain Can't Dampen the Fun: Despite a drizzle and occasional downpours attempting to dampen our costumes, it couldn't dampen our spirits. No Halloween Scrooges could spoil the fun, the atmosphere on the streets was festive and joyous!

 

2. Halloween Games Shine & Grateful Thanks

Our Halloween games truly shone this season, and I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to you all. Even Penny the cat helped with the orders! 

Here's the lowdown:

Seasonal Triumph: Halloween saw our games flying off the digital shelves. The Halloween Scavenger Hunt emerged as the star, becoming our most beloved Halloween game. It's incredible to think that on Halloween night, thousands of families were celebrating with our party games.

Overflowing Gratitude: A massive "Thank You" is in order for each and every one of you who supported our small business. Your enthusiasm and support truly humble me, and I'm deeply grateful.

 

3. The Festive Frenzy Begins

The festive season is upon us, and that means Q4 in the ecommerce world – our busiest time of the year. Here's what's happening behind the scenes:

Stock Shuffle in Plymouth: We're working tirelessly driving our games from our suppliers to HQ in a our blue van!  We are desperately trying to make sure our games are available in all the right places for our lovely buyers this Christmas. It's a bit of a balancing act, ordering just the right amount to meet demand without overdoing it. Fingers crossed, we'll get it spot on this year 🤞

 

4. Introducing Tormund the Tortoise

You've heard plenty about our company dog, Porthos, and our playful cat, Penny. But let me introduce you to someone special – Tormund the Tortoise!

Winter Hibernation: As winter draws near, Tormund is getting ready to hibernate. It's an interesting choice – to sleep away the Christmas season or to fully embrace the festivities. Which option would you prefer?
